When we eventually got over the fact one half of The Civil Wars wasn’t actually Johnny Depp (just his musical doppleganger) we were treated to one of the best sessions we have ever heard. No wonder Adele is obsessed, we are too.

Came across The Civil Wars on Live with Jools Holland late last night and was completely blown away. The last performer that made me feel that way was (at the time a little unknown) Alanis Morisette and look what happened with her.

I do hope they experience more longevity when they reach the top than Alanis did. In fact, I think they will.

Just the most beautiful magic I have heard for a long long time, something special. I have to see them live

I’ve been obsessed with them ever since Adele mentioned them on her blog (obsessed with her, too!). I have tickets to see them when they come to my town – too bad it won’t be with Adele too. I’m sooo in love with this duo!
