    Maybe they just genuinely like their t-shirts. And who are you to say what their style should be? They’re playing music, use your ears not your eyes to judge a band.

    She’s got a gorgeous voice, pretty face – and it’s a great song to boot. However, I just don’t get this whole “let’s wear bad t-shirts because now they are seen as good t-shirts becuase it’s retro”. In many cases, retro is interchangable with the word pretentions. It’s not ironic, it’s not clever. So many people are trying to go for this “different” look these days and they all end up looking the same (have you walked down Brick Lane recently?) Follow your own insticts, not those of someone who’s caught up in fashion – when fashion results in looking intentonally like a pillock. Rant over. Love the song (and that’s all that really counts).
